Eastgate Gift Cards are redeemable at:

·Over 1 000 stores countrywide at all Liberty Property managed shopping centre’s (including Eastgate, Greenacres, Liberty Promenade, Midlands Mall, Alberton City, Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square)

Non Participating Fee

Please note that a Non Participating fee of R10.00 per transaction will be charged on all Eastgate Gift Cards that are not redeemed at Eastgate, Greenacres, Liberty Promenade, Midlands Mall, Alberton City, Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square.

The Gift Cards are available from the Customer Services Desk, which is located at the lower level in front of CNA. In terms of the new FICA legislation, Eastgate is now required to obtain a copy of your identification when you purchase a gift card. The information kiosk officer will simply scan your ID document/driver's license using an A5 scanner situated inside the kiosk.

Eastgate Gift Cards can be purchased for any amount between R50 to R2 500 and are valid for 3 years from the purchase date. Should you wish to purchase cards of a larger value, more than one gift card will be issued. 

Please note:

·Positive identification is required for FICA purposes as stipulated by banks

·Remember to sign on the signature panel upon receipt of your Gift Card

·The Gift Card can be spent in stages at various stores, but remember to check your balance

·The Gift Card cannot be replenished. Once all funds have been used, please destroy the card

·The Gift Card is accepted by all Eastgate Shopping Centre stores as a ‘credit card’, with preloaded credit.

Corporate Gift Card purchases:

Eastgate Gift Cards are excellent employee incentives and can be used as alternatives to end of year bonuses. Should you wish to purchase Eastgate Gift Cards for your organization:

·Send an email request to cynthia.khutsoane@liberty.co.za or nthabiseng.hlatshwayo@liberty.co.za

·The email request must contain the following:

o    The company name

o    The company’s physical address

o    The company’s VAT number

o    The denominations and quantity of cards required

o    The details of the person who will be collecting the vouchers including their full name, contact number and ID number

·An invoice will then be issued to the company

·Payment may be made by EFT or credit card (so long as the card holder is present)

·Once payment has been made and proof of payment has been sent.

·The gift cards may be collected after 3 days
